Travelling to Myanmar, you will visit so many ancient temples. In addition, you can discover more places that not many people know but beautiful. It is like a forgotten world here.

The white sandy beach with crystal clear water and forests are always filled with birds singing. This is where many people will think of a heaven on earth. The article below is the experience of author Martyn Brown during his trip to Myanmar.

This is truly a place you have to witness firsthand

I started my journey on Sea Gipsy - on a Burmese wooden boat in the port city of Kawthaung near the Thai border ... My first destination was Barwell, about two hours from the mainland. So i can turn off the phone and relax in the quiet. However, bad weather conditions did not allow me to watch the sunset on the island. Facing a big storm, I decided to dive into the sea to really feel the beauty here. Nothing can compare with watching fish swimming in the sea when rain falls on your head.

Kids have fun on boats

After about an hour of relaxation, I decided to return to the boat before dark. At dinner, I enjoyed the flavors from the sea, from seaweed soup to grilled fish and spicy squid. Early the next morning, the crew and I decided to explore the islets on a kayak, watching dozens of crabs on the rocks and the red jellyfish swam through.

We were soon curious by the name of Shark Island, a place not named after the bloodthirsty animal but simply its special shape. Here, along with other small islands like the Fairy or the Parrot is truly a paradise for those who like diving.

Shark Island is a paradise for dive enthusiasts

The only beach on the island really caught my eye. It bears the beauty of a supermodel, with crystal clear sea breaking into the fine white sand and surrounded by lush jungle. When the night came, we came to the island of Pilar, also known as Swinton by the British. Early the next morning, I got up earlier than others and decided to sail myself to explore the island. The sea eagles alongside me in this journey of paradise.

White sandy beaches and mangroves forest

Lampi Island, the first and only marine park of Myanmar, is about the size of Phuket Island, also known as the "Lost World" of thick forests. It is the most beautiful mangrove forest in the area and is home to wildlife, from hornbills, rattlesnakes to flying foxes. On the last day of our trip, we headed south and stopped to admire the beauty of Pho Ni, a great place to dive, and the Red Monkey Island for some refreshing swim.
